This Yellow-throated Warbler showed up in my backyard for a couple of weeks this past winter. He enjoyed the feeders during his stop-over and was particularly fond of the suet. It was the first time I had seen this species, and I have to say that bright yellow throat patch is a real eye-catcher. What a pretty little bird! Most Yellow-throated Warblers are migratory, and he was soon on his way to his next location.
