This profile shot gives you a good close-up look at the Wood Stork’s unfeathered head and heavy bill. These features distinguish the Wood Stork, which was once known as the Wood Ibis. When I’m shooting close-ups, I always try to focus on the subject’s eyes. In this photo I focused on the eye and the long bill.
