Wilson’s Plovers, small birds that live in coastal areas, tend to favor barrier islands, which makes St. Simons Island perfect for them. A flock of Wilson’s Plovers had gathered at Gould’s Inlet when I got this shot of these two. Cute, aren’t they? I liked the way they were standing almost in line but looking in opposite directions. When it comes to the diet of Wilson’s Plovers, it seems they have a taste for Fiddler Crabs.
