It is always interesting when you are photographing on the water to see what kind of reflections you can pick up with your camera. I’m not sure what caused these beautiful blue and purple images to streak across Pickerel Pond in Laconia, New Hampshire, but it certainly makes for a pretty picture. Be aware of your environment and use it to your photographic advantage. When geese and their young are out for a swim, they usually stay in a tight group with one parent in the front, one in back, and goslings in the middle for protection.
