The fifth and final location in our series, THE FIVE BEST PLACES ON ST. SIMONS ISLAND TO PHOTOGRAPH WILDLIFE, is the Creek off Villager Drive. Someone who lives on the island once told me that no one realizes how many bodies of water there are on St. Simons until you fly over it. I am using the Creek off Villager Drive as a representative sample of the many bodies of water on this island, and because I have photographed certain species of wildlife there that I haven’t seen anywhere else. Wherever you are on St. Simons, whether you live here, are visiting family and friends, or staying at a hotel, a body of water of some kind is always nearby. And one thing you can be sure of: Where there’s water, there is wildlife! Have fun exploring the island and photographing the magnificent birds and animals that will be all around you.
