Welcome to the Ibis tree! The American White Ibis is very sociable and will nest in large colonies. This picture shows a mixture of adults and juveniles that spent this past winter at Silver Lake on St. Simons Island, Georgia. It was a great treat to see these unique birds as this was my first photographic encounter with them in the wild.
