If you happen to see a few baby goslings around, you can be assured that at least one of their parents is standing guard somewhere nearby. Because of their often aggressive behavior when provoked, the adult Canada Goose has few natural predators, but the same is not true for their young. Coyotes, foxes, bears, raccoons, and even some other birds, like crows and gulls, will prey on the goslings, making constant vigilance by their parents paramount.
