I was watching this Snowy Egret as it was slowly stalking prey through the marsh grass at Gascoigne Bluff. Suddenly, something caught its attention and it turned its head. What did the Snowy Egret hear? What did it see? By photographing the egret on the right side of the photo, it opens up the viewer’s eye and imagination to what the egret was looking at across the marsh. What was it? What’s out there?
