Notice the orange of the beak and eye in this Pekin Duck closeup. It is perfectly color coordinated, as are so many other things in nature. If this duck looks familiar, it may be because the Pekin Duck was used as the model for not only Donald Duck, but also for the duck in the Aflac insurance commercials. It appears the male Pekin is a very popular duck and quite a handsome fellow to boot!
