What a peaceful scene this is! This Great Egret was enjoying the quiet and serenity of life on Silver Lake on St. Simons Island, Georgia. The trees surrounding the lake are full of egrets that certainly standout with their snowy white feathers. You’ll see them flying back and forth across the lake and going from tree to tree.
