Male & female Blue Jays appear almost identical, so it is very hard to tell them apart. Blue Jays are typically monogamous and mate for life. They form strong family bonds and both parents tend to their young. Blue Jays will be extremely aggressive if they sense any danger approaching their nest. They have been known to attack predators, including humans, and will form into groups to fight off much larger intruders. What is the lesson of this story? Don’t mess with Blue Jays!
