If you’ve ever wondered what an irritated Brown Pelican looks like, just take a look at this photo. After being repeatedly harassed by someone on the pier, the Brown Pelican had finally had enough. Pelicans generally do not bother people, so the moral of this story is: Do not irritate a pelican! As you can see, they can be fierce when provoked. Be respectful of all wildlife and give them the space they need. Remember, we are infringing on their habitat, not the other way around.
