If you’ve never seen a Great Egret with an itch, well now you have. I was standing at the creek looking for something to photograph, when suddenly this Great Egret flew in and landed just a few yards away on a fallen tree branch. It was perfect. Sometimes you can wait for hours for something to come along and other times you just get lucky. I always like it when I can catch wildlife doing something and get to observe their behavior. It makes a far more interesting photograph.
