It is hard to find any bird more graceful than the Mute Swan. With its long “S” shaped neck and pure white angel’s wings, it is surely a lovely sight to behold. But don’t let the beauty and elegance of this large waterfowl fool you. Mute Swans, like their geese cousins, can be extremely aggressive if their territory is invaded. They have also been known to displace native species and to damage ecosystems due to their enormous consumption of vegetation.
