Gascoigne Bluff is on the western side of St. Simons Island along the Frederica River. It is next to Epworth by the Sea and can be accessed off Sea Island Road. Gascoigne Bluff has a fishing pier, picnic area, and a beautiful grove of Live Oak trees draped with Spanish moss. This area holds a lot of the island’s history, and any manner of wildlife can be seen and photographed at Gascoigne Bluff.
