There is nothing like a couple of friends just hanging around together on a beautiful afternoon by the sea. I watched for quite a while for the pelican and seagull to turn towards each other so I could capture this shot. The result was definitely worth the wait. It’s one of my favorite photos. It’s also interesting to do a side-by-side comparison of the sizes of these two. The Brown Pelican is one big bird!
