In conclusion, I want to give a big thank you to all you bird lovers who have joined me for Backyard Bird Photography. I hope you have picked up a few tips and have enjoyed the photos. To recap, this series has shown you 15 different birds, thirteen of which were photographed in my own yard, and given you a glimpse of other species you may be able to photograph as well. We have discussed the importance of providing food, water, and shelter. Birdfeeders, birdhouses, and birdbaths can not only take care of our feathered friends but can give you many great photographic opportunities. Remember to keep your distance and not to disturb any wildlife. Photo blinds can help you achieve that and provide protection for both you and your subjects. Isn’t it nice to know you don’t have to go far to find interesting creatures to photograph? Simply look out your window or step out your door. The beauty of nature is all around you, and some of it just might come flying into your yard. Keep your camera ready and happy birding!
