Photo taken in Neptune Park on St. Simons Island
The typical composition of a picture in photography, as in art, is to put the subject in the center of the frame. But who wants to be typical all the time? You can always try something different, as in this photo of the Common Grackle. I saw it peering out from the tree branches in Neptune Park and decided to place the bird on the left side instead of the center of the shot. In this case I like it better. It seems more mysterious. It makes me wonder what the bird is peeking out at. What do you think?
