This photo is part of a Blue Heron series I took at Silver Lake on St. Simons Island, Georgia. I always like to shoot at varying focal lengths from full body shots to close ups and everything in between. Each picture gives you a different look at all of the subject’s many details and draws the eye to a new focus point. In doing that, we can truly study the many facets of wildlife.
